Location Anzio, Italy
Entry The day passed quietly with only occassional light mortar fire on our fwd posns. At night, 2/LIEUT. CRAWSHAW and 2/LIEUT. CURTIS each took out fighting patrols with the object of taking prisoners. Both patrols returned with-out casualties, having encountered no enemy.
