Location Anzio, Italy
Entry A quieter day than usual. During the afternoon a considerable harassing programme was carried out by our own mortars with no retaliation. 1700: Small attack developed on 2 CAMS who are on our RIGHT flank, but it was beaten off. Divisional I.O., CAPT. I. ALLAN, arrived after dark to spend 48hrs with the Bn.
