| Entry | Generally, mortar fire was on a reduced scale. 1900: Movement in front of 'B' Coy was broken up by mortar and arty fire. 2100: Adv Party of a Coy of 2 INNISKS, which was to come under our comd, arrived. Patrolling was strictly limited owing to the bright moonlight, but 'B' and 'D' Coys improved their wire defences. 2320: Several stick grenades were thrown into the 'B' Coy area. 2400: Total casualties so far now stand at 8 killed and 34 wounded. |
