Entry | Night passed without incident, although there was occasional mortaring and shelling as usual. 0900hrs: Several shells landed in the area of our 3" Mortars. 1 killed and 1 wounded. Up to this period the enemy had not returned the fire of our mortars. Up to this day the Mortars had fired about 1200 rounds, it is thought they have done great damage to the enemy. Day passed with the usual occasional mortaring of fwd Coys. NO casualties. |
