| Entry | A few shells in the Bn HQ area during the day, otherwise quiet. During the night a fighting patrol had casualties from a prepared and trip-wired charge, including the officer - Lieut W.F. Stuart - killed and the Sgt badly wounded believed killed. The standing patrol on Pt. 37 had to leave it when attacked and mortared by an enemy fighting patrol. |
