Entry 0400hrs: The advance party of 6th NORTHAMPTONSHIRE REGT who were taking over from us arrived and spent the day making a recce of Coy posns. 1100hrs: Bde Comds of 13 and 11 Inf Bdes came to see the Bn area. 2015hrs: The first troops of the NORTHANTS arrived. The relief was completed and command passed at 0315hrs 11 Dec. The Bn left by M.T. for CASTELROMANA in two colns which left MONTENERO at 2245hrs 10 Dec and 0330hrs respectively.
