Entry	15 Bde had now passed through and on hearing that we should probably remain in ISERNIA for a week or more the Bn set to work seriously to clean itself up and make the billets, left in a shocking state by the GERMANS, fit to live in once more. They were also given the job of cleaning up the bomb-damage openeing [sic] up the streets to traffic, and were made responsible for traffic control in the town. Several new Bren Guns were issued to replace old ones which were wearing out and these were tested out and zeroed.
