| Entry | Bn spent a night undisturbed by the enemy and at first light about 0530 hrs wireless contact was regained with D, A, & B Coys. C Coys sent patrol to CANTALUPO Cross Rds Map Raf 3225 which is reported clear by 0800hrs. D Coy moved down to CANTALUPO, where one man was killed by GERMAN shellfire. At 1145hrs B Coy sptd by arty moved without meeting opposition on to MONTAGNOLA feature in 3023. About midday communication was regained with HQ 13 I/B with the arrival of LT. PM: Bn less B Coy who remained in area MONTAGNOLA, moved to CANTALUPO. Bn layout was as follows:- Bn HQ CANTALUPO. D Coy LE COSTE Pt. 681 3223 C Coy CANTALUPO Cross Roads 3225 A Coy at 328235 QM brought up ration mules. |
