Bn marched fwd and received orders at LIMBADI to continue flanking movement and to rejoin MAIN ROAD at VIBO VALENTIA Aerodrome 7706, where they arrived at 0300hrs the following morning, tired after a march of over 20 miles. As the Bn passed through the villages the inhabitants lit fires and made gifts of fruit and wine, telling us that ITALY had signed an Armistice. |
