Location France, GIVENCHY
Entry A quiet day. Enemy shelled our centre section slightly in the afternoon, four men slightly wounded. Work on parapets traverses, communication and fire trenches, support trenches and saps continued. RE dug a support trench in rear of the duck's bill point. A rapid outburst of fire from enemy about 6pm. No harm done. D Coy relieved A Coy in centre section.
