[Regimental Intellegence Officer] and Os C 'C' & 'D' Coys leaves by bicycle to recce AIRPORT. 0900: 'C' & 'D' Coys follow on foot. 1230: 'C' & 'D' Coys take possession of aerodrome. 1440: Lieut Colonel G.P. Oldfield and RIO return to Bn HQ, handing over to 13 Inf Bde various French Maps found on aerodrome. 1600: Water cart & rations arrive. |
