Entry 0725. R.O.D. One Coy under comd 8/2 Punjab, 2nd Ech; Departed Perimeter, Comd Capt. E.G. Attwood, 2i/c, Adjutant. 0830. Mtr Pl under 2i/c proceed to Field Firing Area for practise shoot. 1430. Mtr Pl while searching for Mtr Blinds, were sniped. No casualties. 2 Rds Fired. 1600. Coy under Comd 8/2 Punjabs returned to Perimeter. No incidents. Reference to Appendices None.
