Entry Capt E.C. ATTWOOD officiates as Bn Representative for the Bde Signal Exercise termed "BALONEY" - Appears to have done well. Maj General C.E.N. LOMAX C.B.E., D.S.O., M.C. visits the Bn a third time this month and goes round all Coy Areas. Bde informs Bn H.Q. verbally that the A.D.M.S. will arrive at the Unit Lines tomorrow but information is recd later that the visit is postponed till the 1st Sept. Confirmation received that Major W.E. FAUX was appointed 2 i/c w.e.f. 8 Aug - Major The Lord Seymour at present in CALCUTTA awaiting orders for Repatriation relinquishes the appointment of 2 i/c 1/WILTS. 4 Ind Inf Bde Op.
