Entry	The Y.M.C.A. is prepared for the meeting of the C -in-C 11 Army Group, General Sir George GIFFARD G.C.B., D.S.O., A.D.C. The C in C arrived at 1430 hrs and met officers and N.C.Os of the Bde in the Y.M.C.A. A quarter of an hour later - His speech was short but very sincere. It was his last day of his tour of the Fourteenth Army and came to congratulate and thank all for the excellent show put up in the recent campaign. Reference to Appendices None.
