| Entry | Patrol report of 2/Lieut Horsley as follows: Water obtainable at all villages. Villagers sold Bananas, and lit fires ( A great help in Monsoon weather.) Eggs were NOT obtainable. Phenomenal number of leaches in the villages en route and patrol suffered badly and many severe. One man was bitten 35 times. Remainder of Bn Normal Training. Reference to Appendices None. |
