| Entry | Remainder of Bn entertained by B.E.S.A. show. Bn rest day after severe training of past 10 days. Report on Lieut Mahcay's patrol. All villages appeared quite friendly; but slightly scared. Ran away when patrol entered village, but re appeared when sure we were friendly. Quinine requested by villagers owing to heavy malaria rate of villagers. All villagers seem quite prosperous.
