Entry | 1000 hrs. Full report from Capt. Stephenson, OC Det. ARRAH re night 24/25. Three rd blocks encountered North of JAGDISPUR. Nearby villagers warned to remove them by the time the patrol returned. This was done plus a deputation meeting the ASP with patrol, and promising to look after that part of the road against saboteurs, plus handing over to the police any Congress leaders that visited their villages In addition to previous report on JAGDISPUR incident, 18 arrests were made including key men and others concerned in the attack on the police thana [sic]. After raiding JAGDISPUR patrol proceeded DALIPUR afternoon 25, fired school building and as Congress HQ arrested proprietor. Moved on to BALAUTHI and raided it at dawn 26 Aug. Two houses burnt and Congress flag taken. No arrests as BALAUTHI deserted. Visited BEHEA evening 26 Aug, and recovered from BANK of BIHAR a spear, brickbats and 36 bags of atta [sic].
