Capt Climpson) depart for PATNA. 0800 hrs. C Coy installed HIGH COURT, PATNA. 0800 hrs. Draft of 39 BOR's arrive from UK. 1020 hrs. Lt Col L.C. THOMAS returns DINAPORE and reassumes command. 1325 hrs. On pl D Coy despatched BIHTA by train at request of SDM, DINAPORE. 1730 hrs. Pl from BIHTA returns C Coy in PATNA sent pls to various places as requested by civil authorities and finally were established in SECRETARIAT. 1825 hrs. Report received from Captain Stephenson, OC A Coy from ARRAH. Various incidents occurred during the day. 1852 hrs. Lost commn. RANCHI & BARRACKPORE 1900 hrs. Scratch Coy of 80 men formed from convalescents in hospital, comd Capt. T.W. DUTTON, take over posts EAST and SOUTH of cantonment area. Depot Coy two posts on WEST. D Coy and details HQ held in reserve. 2000 hrs. One Coy 2Y and L arrive DINAPORE, one Coy remains KHAGAUL. Reference to Appendices None. |
