Entry 0700. Instruction No 1 issued for attack on 4.11.18. 0900. A report from the Division on right that enemy had retired during the night, sent out patrols from each Company in line. It was found that enemy outpost positions in front of QUESNOY - LANDRICIES Road were held by machine guns, and that garrisons were alert as usual. 1400. Battalion H.Q moved to farm at G.1.d 73 1930. Village heavily shelled. Remarks See App A.
