Entry 1400. Weather fine. Battalion Battle Strength 24 Officers 703 ORs embussed at Coisy and proceeded up Country and camped in old dugouts near COUMBLES waiting orders to proceed into Action (See appendix C). Remainder of Battalion - Battle Surplus remained behind under Major H.V. BAYLISS M.C. at Coisy in Divisional Camp. Remarks Operation Order No. 53 not forwarded
