Entry 6pm. Weather fine. Strength. 24 officers 733 OR. Detached 7 Officers 71 OR. 7 OR to detachment, 1 OR struck off strength (Sgt WEST W accepted for admission to Officers Cadet Unit). Observation. 1000 two men seen moving between CEMETRY WOOD and AKINDZALI for half an hour. Enemy seem to have some system off signals between CEMETRY WOOD, HODZA REDOUBT, AKINDZALI and NIKOLIC foothills, lights being sent up every night from forward positions between 2030 and 2130 hours, which are at once answered from positions behind.
