Entry 6pm. Weather fine. Strength. 24 Officers 742 OR. Detached 7 Officers 71 OR. 1 OR rejoined from detachment. 1 OR to Hospital. 1 OR struck off. 8 OR joined. Capt B.M. YOUNG and 2 OR to XII Corps School of Instruction. Observation. Two men seen in boat on lake near Long Wood at 0630. 2nd Lt WALKER and 11 OR met an enemy patrol in two parties 20 strong at BREST BRIDGE at 1845 hours. One patrol was forced to withdraw with one OR wounded, Sgt BULLEN missing, believed to have been wounded and carried off by enemy patrol.
