Entry Midnight. Weather fine. Strength. 24 Officers 896 OR. Detached 8 Officers 79 OR. CAPT C.H. SAWTELL proceeded to STAVROS Rest Camp. 1 OR to BASE to undergo sentence of imprisonment, 1 OR to Hospital. Observation. 0800 Four men came out of trenches on BOYAU HILL and disappeared over skyline. One man was carrying something of his back. 0805 Man on horseback came over hill beyond BOYAU and disappeared into Ravine. 1005 two mules and a wagon seen on road behind POBREG and later a motor lorry. Two blasts went up on TRAPEZE DE POBREG at 1900. Continual movement of enemy on NOSE throughout the day in parties of from 1-5 men.
