Entry 6pm. Weather fine. Strength. 22 Officers 905 OR. Detached 6 Officers 70 OR. Observation. Night. At 1700 artillery fired on doubtful object on DOUBLE HILL. About 7 men were seen crawling away. 2200 band was heard playing in direction of NOSE. Dogs heard barking from enemy trenches during night. Day. 0450 small working party shelled and dispersed between DOME and PETIT CLOU. At 0850 a small O.P. was seen for a short time on LA SELLE. Enemy aeroplanes active between 0900 and 1000.
