Between 2230 and 0010 numbers of very lights were fired from PETIT PITON, NOSE and MACHINE GUN HILL. Day. At 2040 (night 20/21) M.G. fired from head of CARDIFF RAVINE, believed emplacement in trenches 30 yards west of track through wire. Between 0430 and 0500 T.M. registered in front of MACUKOVO. Observation posts seen all day on GRAND CLOU and PETIT CLOU. Small working party on PETIT CLOU at 1100 and on MG HILL at 1300. |
