Between 2400 and 0130 a raiding party of about 80 strong attacked AK2 (held by 77th Bde) but were driven off with rifle and MG fire. Enemy at first heavily shelled Scots positions, then turned on K6 putting over about 200 shrapnel and HE. No damage or casualties. Day. 0555 two men working on the left of the NOSE, and also one acting as sentry wearing red cap and grey coat. The two men were dressed like convicts wearing striped clothes. |
