Entry 6pm. Weather fine. Strength. 20 Officers 832 OR. Detached 5 Officers 91 OR. 60 OR of Middlesex Regt ceased to be attached. 14 OR joined unit from Base. Observation. Night. 2100 enemy sent up a number of white, green and red lights from the low ridges running N. from GRAND COURONNE. This was followed by a number of white lights and by a small searchlight which played till 2215 from the works at NIKOLIC. Day. The usual movement observed round NIKOLIC CHURCH. New bridge observed on the river HODZA about 200 yards W. of HODZA BRIDGE. 1440 23 motor lorries seen on DEDELI - DOIRAN ROAD proceeding towards DOIRAN.
