HULM relinquishes tempy rank of Captain on ceasing to be employed as Asst CAMP Commandant, GHQ. HONOURS & Awards. 'D' Coy 31754 CSM FARRER A.H. * } Awarded the Military 'A' Coy 14505 Sgt TOWNSEND A.N. } Medal for gallantry and devotion to duty in the field, during operations of 24/25th April 1917. *CSM FARRER'S award subsequently cancelled, W.O's not being eligible see entry for 30.5.17 Observation. Night. 0455 about 30 men were seen on road N.W. of LONG WOOD proceeding to foot of hills. Day. Continual motor and oxen transport traffic on road behind enemy's lines throughout the day. 0510 - 0530 constant movement of men round dugouts N.W. of LONG WOOD. 1530 several men seen in MENETLI and five horses seen field N. of village. 1540 4 men observed working on trenches N.W. of NIKOLIC CHURCH.
