Entry 6PM. Weather fine. Strength. 20 Officers 876 OR. Detached 5 Officers 104 OR. 4 OR detained at ADS. 84th Field Ambulance. Observation Night. Blasting N. of NIKOLIC CHURCH. Day. 0800 4 heavy HE fired from N.W. corner of LAKE and fell below GAUTEMENLI VILLAGE. Intermittent blasting on HODZA REDOUBT. 1030 several mounted men observed N.E. of NIKOLIC CHURCH. 1550 troops observed on DOIRAN ROAD proceeding towards GRAND COURONNE. 1630 Ten men seen to leave what looks like a new gun emplacement NNE of NIKOLIC CHURCH. 1700 troops observed coming down track back of GRAND COURONNE in small parties. 1715 constant movement of transport all day on road NW of Lake. On night of 9/10th the 77th Brigade with two battalions (OBLI and BERKS) of 78th Brigade attacked Bulgar line from O5 to the Lake.
