Entry 6pm. Weather fine, with thunderstorms. Strength. 20 Officers 880 OR. Detached 5 Officers 100 OR. 1 OR (draft) struck off strength. Observation. Night. All quiet. Our artillery heavily bombarded O1 - O4. Day. 0730 continuos movement of transport on DOIRAN ROAD. 0840 about 60 waggons observed N.W. of Lake, believed to be Red Cross waggons. 1055 four men seen digging N.W. of NIKOLIC CHURCH. 1420 three mounted men left LONG WOOD and went through enemy wire to nullah N of NIKOLIC CHURCH.
