Entry 6 pm. Weather. Fine and warm. Strength. 28 Officers 908 OR. Detached 13 Officers 96 OR. 1 OR to hospital, 1 OR struck off. Observation. Night. 1430 to 1730 hours 12 HE shells from field gun at foot of gully leading up to BASING HILL. 1920 light seen on GRAND COURONNE. A small party of enemy on N.W. slope of PETIT COURONNE were dispersed by M.G. fire at 1845. Day. Quiet, Brig. Gen. POOLE visited the sector.
