Colonel W L ROCKE, CMG. resumed Command of Battalion. 1 OR wounded (14435 Pte LOVEDAY E, 22.2.17), 1 OR to Hospital (wounded), 3 OR struck off strength. Observation. Night. 2100 sudden intense enemy bombardment for five minutes by field guns and howitzers over our whole sector. No damage or casualties. Patrol found Bulgar cap with correspondence inside. Day. Quiet.
