Lieut CLAYTON R M wounded (19/2/17) in thigh by sniper near IRON BRIDGE while going round to DOIRAN ROAD CAMP. 17030 Pte BENNETT J C wounded. Lieut CLAYTON and 2 OR to Hospital. 14085 Pte HOWELL R died of wounds at 29th General Hospital 19/2/17. Observation. Night. Working parties on O1 and O2 dispersed by artillery. Smoke reported from red trench centre of O2. Day. Two Bulgar deserters gave themselves up at B10 at 0630 hours, one Private one Corporal, both appeared well equipped and fed. |
