Capt COWTAN F S reverted to 2nd Lieut Capt CHANDLER C H " " Lieut. Observation. Night. B2/B4 sectors lightly shelled between 1900 and 0115. At 0245 a large working party was reported by the Lake Group to be in the White house on extreme right of DOIRAN. Battery informed without result. Day. There was intermittent shelling the whole day on our front, 100 shrapnel and HE being fired between 0930 and 1600. Many failed to explode. No damage or Casualties. |
