Entry 6 pm. Weather fine and sunny. Strength. 30 Officers 924 OR Detached 13 Officers 104 OR. 2 OR to Hospital 1 OR rejoined from Hospital 1 OR struck off 1 OR joined. Observation. Night. Lights seen in DOIRAN at 1900 hours. Enemy shelling road to Bde HQ between 1900 and 2100 hours. Our artillery heavily shelled HILL 340. Day. B2 and B4 heavily shelled with 4.2 HE during morning. 8 heavy shells near SWINDON CAMP and new second line barbed wire during afternoon. Three duds.
