Enemy working party on 02 reported at 2350, dispersed by our artillery at 2400 and again at 0040. Front lightly shelled between 1715 and 2115. Intermittent sniping up to 2200 hours. At 1900 several flashes seen behind GRAND COURONNE, no explosions heard. Day. 18 mountain gun shells on B4/B6 sectors between 1030 and 1350. Enemy aircraft over B6 from WEST at 1350. Enemy observation balloon up at 1430-1520. 1515, 16 HE shells burst in front of our lines. New enemy wire on O2 and O3 since January 8th. |
