Strength 33 Officers 952 OR Detached 9 Officers 79 OR. 1 OR to Hospital, 2 OR struck off 1 OR rejoined from Hospital, 1 OR to Base to undergo his imprisonment and struck off accordingly, 1 OR to detachment. Observation. Night At 1010 and 1345 a M.G fired across front from PETIT COURONNE on first occasion hitting wire in front of B4. Sniper active on PETIT COURONNE at 1700 hours. B2 and B6 sectors lightly shelled between 1900 and 0140 hours. Enemy working on wire in O1 sector and digging in O2. Observation. Day 0745 sniper firing from 04 on B6 and B8. 0940 3 HE shells above SWINDON CAMP, 1025 6 HE near 'D' Coy HQ. At 1200 a heavy bombardment with MG and rifle fire was heard on our left in direction of HILL 535. 1445-1515 6 HE in and near DEEP CUT RAVINE CAMP. No damage. Enemy sniper active at 1545. |
