Observation night Patrol reported small enemy working party repairing wire on O2, it was dispersed by our Artillery. 11 shells fell on B4 and B6 during the night. Enemy put up three Very lights 22.00 and 23.00. Observation day At 07.45 enemy lightly shelled B4. New trenches reported as having been commenced behind O1. [LETTER DATED] 25th December 1916 |
