| Entry | 6 pm. Weather fine Strength 25 officers 944 OR Detached 12 " 76 OR 2 OR rejoined 1 OR struck off strength 2 Lieut BARTRAM and 4 OR to MG Course 2 OR to detachment 4 OR to Hospital. Observations Night. Enemy lightly shelled our trenches otherwise all quiet. Day. 1200 and 1430 Small Calibre gun fire and Shrapnel at one of our aeroplanes, it was apparently flying too low for enemy anti-aircraft guns. Enemy also sniped at aeroplane and later opened rapid fire on it from trench on left slope of PETIT COURONNE at 1615 mountain gun fired on DOIRAN ROAD otherwise all quiet. |
