Entry 26th - 27th During night 25/26th Bde Composite Battalion (being very weak in numbers) were relieved and withdrew forming successive lines of outposts about HEBUTERNE - FONQVILLERS - and in front of BAYENCOURT where battalions were re-enforced and a strong line of outposts established forming the 3rd line of Defence. Enemy held along the BEAUMONT HAMEL - SERRE. [See Narrative of Operations at the end of 31.3.1918 details]
