Entry 30 more N.C.O's and men evacuated sick, majority of cases caused through exposure. Relieved 9th Cheshire Regiment in Right subsector - Battalion Trench Strength 302 other ranks. 'B' Company left front, 'A' Company right front, 'D' Company in close support. 'C' Coy in reserve. Relief delayed on account of heavy barrage. S.O.S. being sent up on left front and later on right front. Casualties during relief 2nd Lt. Davison wounded, 4 other ranks wounded. Owing to barrage on both sides it was impossible to proceed much further with consolidating the line taken over. Remarks WYTSCHAETE 5A
