Location Belgium, Zillebeke
Entry 7th - 8th Enemy shelled junction of Front Line and St Peter's Street intermittently all day with whizbangs. MENIN Road was also shelled from direction of STIRLING CASTLE. A hurricane bombardment from 8.45 to 8.50p.m was carried out by our artillery with the object of stopping the enemy shelling our back areas at night. Enemy retaliated for about 5 minutes with shells of all calibres. The bombardment was repeated by us at 11.15p.m no retaliation followed. Remarks ZILLEBEKE (SHEET)
