Entry 20th - 21st Enemy artillery active on LUCKY WAY. Lieut Parsons did invaluable work on patrol in the daytime entering advanced German Lines. O.G.1 and found line unoccupied. This trench was afterwards occupied by 'C' Company and consolidated, Our casualties were 14 other ranks wounded 4 killed and 1 missing. Lt.Col Long took over Command of 56th Brigade on 20th, Major Carlyon taking over Command of the Battalion. Remarks MAP SHEET 57d SE. W 18a.
