| Entry | Lt. Tynam sic [Tynan] and Scouts went out from 9th Welch lines on patrol Whilst proceeding along to the German Lines he came across an enemy patrol, which with the aid of his Scouts he very cleverly surrounded and ordered them to surrender. This they did and the patrol which consisted of an Officer, a Sergeant and a private were taken prisoners. Battalion again had baths and a working party was found in the evening as on previous day.
