Location France, In the Trenches, Richborg St Vaast
Entry 4th - 6th Large working parties were sent up and an attempt was made to repair and in many places to reconstruct the fire trenches and communication trenches. The Battn suffered one killed and five wounded and a great many men sick with trench foot. The enemy were very quiet except for occasional sniping. The news was received that 2nd Lieut Trueman had been awarded the Military Cross.
