Entry The morning of the 30th was spent in re-adjusting billets - one Company managed to get baths and clean clothing. At 11a.m orders were received that the Brigade was to hold itself in readiness to move. At 2O/c the Battn marched from Locon and picked up remainder of Brigade at LE HAMEL and continued it march to Annequin and CAMBRIN. The Brigade then took over trenches from 6th Brigade, the Battn holding the line from the Canal on the left and RIDLEY STREET on right exclusive. 'D' Coy took up the left, 'C' the centre and 'A' the right, 'B' Coy remaining in reserve. Casualties on the 25th were 4 Officers killed and one wounded, other ranks 24 killed, 16 missing and 73 wounded.
