Entry The battalion moved off at 6.30a.m as part of column proceeding to ALTUN KEUPRI A broken bridge over a deep water nullah 3 miles from GUK TAPPAH delayed the column. 'B' Company assisted R.E. to build a bridge and 'A' Company went forward reaching Altun Keupri at 10.45a.m. The bridge had been destroyed and the town evacuated. At 1.0p.m 'B' company went forward and joined 'A' Company near ALTUN KEUPRI bridge, whilst the remainder of Battalion returned to GUK TAPPAH. 2/Lieut W.G. DAWSON was admitted to Field Ambulance. Lieut Col L. KETTLEWELL D.S.O. took over command of the Battalion. General The Sick for the month was high 7% due chiefly to malarial fevers and septic sores. L. Kettlewell Lieut.
