Location Mesopotamia, At Tuz
Entry In order to test communications the battalion manned the defensive position, after a surprise warning during night 26/27th. The whole operations were completely successful. A slight delay at the outset occurred in the transmission of messages owing to defective instruments, but orderlies were utilized with good effect until repairs were affected, after which many more messages were transmitted and received.
