Entry Work on clearing of roads commenced, every effort being made to render roads passable for motor transport at the earliest moment, in order to enable supplies to get through to the advanced troops. Splendid progress was made and a motor convoy was able to get through during the day. The Sector covered by Col. HASELDINE'S force was now TUZ - TAUQ the distribution being as follows. TAUQ BRIDGE 'A' Company 5th Wilts 2 Machine Guns 7 Sabres C33 D 1/0. TC 212 'A' Squad 22nd Cavalry (less 2 troops and sabres detached) 1 Section A 55/R.F.A. Head Qrs. 5th Wilts, 'B' & 'D' Companies 1 Machine Gun, 40th Machine gun Coy. C42. D 5/5 TC 212 'C' Company 5th wilts 7 Sabres 1 M. Gun 40th Machine Gun Coy.
