| Entry | Work on clearing of roads commenced, every effort being made to render roads passable for motor transport at the earliest moment, in order to enable supplies to get through to the advanced troops. Splendid progress was made and a motor convoy was able to get through during the day. The Sector covered by Col. HASELDINE'S force was now TUZ - TAUQ the distribution being as follows.
