Location Mesopotamia, At Ain Lailah
Entry The day was spent in laying out and working on the following positions:- D Coy on the MAIN PASS preparing a position for 1 Company with 2 M.Guns and gun positions for 1 Section. The remaining 3 companies (less 1 platoon C Coy) worked on a position for 1 Battalion, 1 Section M.Guns, and gun positions for 1 Section MOUNTAIN GUNS (B.H) on CEMETERY HILL with left flank refused at ROCK HILL. 1 Platoon C Coy proceeded to TRANSPORT CAMP and took over piquet duties there.
